About the Course

The American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS) Course prepares healthcare providers and professional rescuers to recognize life-threatening emergencies, perform high-quality CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. This hands-on, instructor-led class follows the latest AHA guidelines and provides a 2-year certification upon successful completion.


Target Audience: Healthcare Providers, First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS), and students in healthcare-related fields.


Focus: Advanced techniques, team-based resuscitation, high-quality chest compressions, advanced airway management, and the use of specialized equipment like bag-mask devices.


Content: Includes CPR, AED use, and other life-saving skills relevant to healthcare settings.


Scope: Covers a broader range of scenarios, including two-rescuer situations and more complex medical emergencies.
